OFFERING YOUNG ADULT THERAPY VIRTUALLY IN NEW YORK STATE OR IN-PERSON ON LONG ISLAND
Guiding Young Adults on the Path to Resilience and Well-Being
WHAT HAPPENS WHEN INNER WORK ISN’T ENOUGH?
Most of my young adult clients are no strangers to doing the work. Journaling. Meditating. Breathwork. Yoga. Affirmations. Gratitude. You name it.
And sometimes there comes a point where they realize it’s just not enough right now. They’re still feeling overwhelmed by mental health challenges, struggling to solidify their identity, and feeling purposeless in life, love, and career.
If this sounds like you, reaching out could be a great next step.
MAYBE YOU’RE…
✓ Feeling overwhelmed by college or career
✓ Struggling to make or deepen friendships
✓ Striking out in romantic relationships or can’t seem to keep them
✓ Exploring LGBTQIA+ identity or navigating related challenges
✓ Dealing with disordered eating or body image struggles
✓ Facing down depression or anxiety
✓ Working through past traumas or difficult family dynamics
✓ Realizing you might have an addiction
…or something else entirely.
Whatever the case:
You’ve got this. And I’ve got you.
HOW I APPROACH YOUNG ADULT COUNSELING SESSIONS:
BEYOND THE DIAGNOSIS
Diagnoses can be a helpful starting place if you happen to have one, but your personality, history, and goals carry a lot more weight. I curate your treatment plan based on you, not your diagnosis, because you’re more than a page in a textbook.
ZERO JUDGEMENT CONTAINER
Whether you’re Gen Z or a Millennial like me, I’d bet a million dollars you’re done being judged. I have a firm “no judgment” boundary surrounding every session, so you can speak freely, even about stuff you may have been judged for before.

Every individual’s journey in therapy is unique, just as each person's challenges and experiences are distinct. For some, positive changes might be noticed within a few sessions, while for others, it might take longer to identify and work through underlying issues. And know this: Simply seeking help is already a significant step forward!

It depends on what we’re working through. I will draw from a variety of modalities to shape your session to be as effective as possible.

No, I do not directly accept insurance. However, some clients receive reimbursement from their insurance companies by submitting invoices from our sessions. I’m happy to provide any necessary documentation to assist you in seeking out-of-network reimbursement. It's a good idea to check with your insurance provider about their reimbursement policies for out-of-network services.

We talk — that’s it. You can ask me anything you want, and I may ask you questions about what led you to therapy so that we can both evaluate if moving forward with therapy sessions together is the best move for you at this time.
